Responsibilities
The Business Planning & Operations team take a strategic approach to driving impact cross‑functionally across TikTok. They work with multiple business units and senior stakeholders including, but not limited to, Category, Partnerships, Strategy, Governance & Experience and Data Science. This team drives forward business growth and operational efficiency by providing significant business diagnosis and practical solutions through the use of analytical insights.
- Partner Ecosystem & Capability Tiering: responsible for the strategic design and development of the TikTok Shop Partner ecosystem across European markets. Build a dynamic partner capability evaluation and tiering system based on operational scale, service capability and merchant incubation performance; design differentiated development strategies and resource allocation for different partner segments.
- Partner Growth & Enablement Framework: design and optimize the full lifecycle growth framework for service partners, developing standardized methodologies and capability assessment systems. Drive partner enablement initiatives including training programs, capability development projects and incentive schemes to strengthen partner capabilities in merchant operations, affiliate collaboration, content production and livestreaming.
- Partner Performance Analysis & Strategic Insights: monitor and analyze the overall performance of the partner ecosystem. Conduct deep analysis on key metrics including merchant incubation efficiency, GMV contribution, content output and creator collaboration to identify growth opportunities and operational bottlenecks, providing data‑driven strategic recommendations.
- Growth Methodology & Best Practice Development: identify and consolidate successful partner growth models and scalable operational methodologies. Produce case studies, operational playbooks and strategy reviews to enable best practices to be replicated across partners and markets.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration & Ecosystem Development: lead key partner ecosystem initiatives by collaborating with Category Operations, Merchant Growth, Creator teams, Product and others. Improve partner‑merchant matchmaking mechanisms and address operational challenges in European markets to strengthen the long‑term development of the partner ecosystem.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional experience in e‑commerce platform strategy, partner ecosystem management, merchant operations strategy, or business analysis.
- Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills, with a solid understanding of e‑commerce platform ecosystems and service partner operating models. Proven ability to independently design and execute complex strategic initiatives.
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and modeling, with the ability to independently extract, clean, and analyze data.
- Excellent project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills, with the ability to drive alignment across multiple teams and execute strategic initiatives in complex environments.
- Fluent in English as a working language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with backgrounds in management consulting, internet strategy, or e‑commerce and partner operations are preferred.
- Experience with SQL or other analytical tools is highly preferred.
