I’m supporting a global manufacturer of precision components who are looking to appoint a Project Engineer to join their operations team in Walsall.

The business supplies into sectors including automotive, aerospace, oil & gas and general industry, delivering high-integrity components into demanding applications.

The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on delivery role where you’ll take full ownership of customer projects — ensuring technical compliance, commercial performance and on‑time delivery.

You’ll act as the key link between customers and internal teams, driving projects forward while maintaining quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading customer projects from order through to completion
• Acting as the main client contact throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinating engineering, production and procurement teams
• Managing schedules, costs and scope to meet delivery targets
• Preparing quotations and supporting commercial alignment
• Driving continuous improvement and maintaining strong HSE standards

What They’re Looking For

• Experience delivering technical projects within manufacturing or industrial sectors
• Background in oil & gas, energy, aerospace or heavy industry (advantageous)
• Engineering qualification (degree or equivalent experience)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
