Senior Architect - Residential
Location: Manchester
Job type: Full time, permanent contract
Responsibilities
- Lead key design decisions and drive high‑quality concepts from inception to completion.
- Collaborate creatively with a multidisciplinary team, initiating concepts and guiding the team’s delivery.
- Mentor team members and take responsibility for their design output.
- Lead the collaboration process with internal and external professionals to deliver highly coordinated solutions.
- Manage engagement processes with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years post‑qualification experience in residential design as an ARB Senior Qualified Architect.
- Demonstrable technical and software proficiency with a portfolio showcasing excellent design across relevant projects.
- Strong briefing, concept development and implementation skills.
- Experience leading stakeholder engagement and managing tight deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, communication and collaborative teamwork skills at all organisational levels.
- Proficient in BIM environments (Revit preferred); experience with InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint and SketchUp is desirable.
