Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain engineering documentation, including quality plans and specifications
  • Manage technical queries in line with established processes and standards
  • Support contractor selection and contract placement activities
  • Review contractor designs, drawings, and technical submissions
  • Conduct technical appraisals and evaluate project options
  • Perform feasibility studies, site surveys, and stakeholder liaison
  • Prepare and manage engineering change documentation
  • Lead commissioning documentation and testing activities where required
  • Support project delivery to ensure safety, quality, and timeliness
  • Collaborate with project and construction teams across the lifecycle

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer status or HNC qualification
  • SMSTS certification
  • Experience in highly regulated environments with strong safety standards
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and construction project delivery
  • Understanding of safety, environmental, and quality compliance
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in power generation or nuclear sites (desirable)
  • Ability to manage technical documentation and stakeholders effectively
