Nursery Manager

Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands

Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week, all year round

Salary: £31,711.68 (higher salary considered for the right candidate)

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of a busy 60-place nursery, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and early years education are consistently maintained. You will lead and inspire the nursery team, support staff development, and create a positive and engaging environment for both children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursery team
  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards
  • Support and mentor staff through coaching and development
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Drive continuous improvement and outstanding practice within the setting

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Nursery Manager or senior leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skillsPassion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
  • Relevant childcare qualification
  • A proactive, caring, and team-focused approach
