Bradshaw Manor Care Home is located near the Rhyl seafront promenade. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to oversee daily operations, allocate resources, and monitor performance to deliver high‑quality care to residents.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff.
- Manage the safety, quality, and financial aspects of the care home.
- Coordinate the activities of all care and nursing staff during the shift.
- Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the care home.
- Ensure the care home team provides high‑quality, person‑centred care and support to residents and their families.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership of the staff team and act as a positive role model, maintaining a high level of personal visibility within the community.
- Promote the care home locally and nationally.
- Ensure compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008.
- Perform any other duties commensurate with grade.
Skills and Experience
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in the care industry.
- Broad experience of managing people, service and quality to achieve performance targets.
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships.
- Commissioning Home Manager experience is preferable.
- Good team worker.
