What you'll be doing

  • Ensure routine inspection, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment in accordance with quality control and regulatory standards.
  • Perform quality control checks, verify laboratory results, and resolve discrepancies in test outputs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and validation records.
  • Manage inventory of laboratory equipment, consumables, reagents, and supplies to support ongoing study and operational needs.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of laboratory chemicals and reagents.
  • Support planning of study-specific laboratory equipment requirements.
  • Work closely with internal lab systems and operations teams to ensure equipment and systems remain validated and compliant prior to use in studies.
  • Liaise with external vendors for equipment servicing, maintenance, and supply management.
  • Collaborate with clinical research teams and external partners (e.g. contract laboratories) to ensure smooth execution of study activities.
  • Support training of new clinical research technologists and assist in developing training materials and SOPs.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork within the laboratory operations team.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma in Sciences
  • Experience in clinical research laboratory operations, biomedical science, or medical laboratory technology
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and quality control processes
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as ICH-GCPand laboratory quality standards
  • Experience in clinical trial or regulated laboratory environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including internal teams and external vendors
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment
