Gen2 is currently recruiting a Quality Improvement Manager (TLA) to join their operation based in Cumbria.
This position will initially be offered as a 12‑month contract, working 30 hours per week, Salary £37,500.
You will need to be flexible and able to work from any of our three locations: Carlisle, Workington, or Furness, however, you will be contracted to the site closest to your home. Travel expenses between sites will be covered.
The Gen2 Quality Improvement Manager for Teaching, Learning and Assessment leads the development and implementation of high‑quality teaching and assessment in line with Ofsted standards.
In this role you will work closely with the Head of Quality and Curriculum to develop and implement the Teaching, Learning and Assessment strategy, including observing and evaluating teaching practice, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and using these insights to shape individual and organisational CPD
The post holder will deliver professional development, mentoring and training to trainers and lecturers, supporting innovation in pedagogy, including the effective use of digital and AI technologies. Acting as an exemplar practitioner, the role promotes a strong professional culture, supports teacher education and pedagogical programmes, monitors the impact of CPD on learner outcomes, and works collaboratively with managers to develop a skilled, motivated and high-performing teaching workforce.
