At Boots, we’re reimagining the future of high street healthcare and we’re looking for a Proposition Development Manager – Health Innovation to join us in a high-impact, pivotal role. This position will drive the development and delivery of innovative customer propositions and growth-focused initiatives that expand our brilliant healthcare ecosystem.

About the Role

Working cross-functionally, you will be part of the Healthcare Development team, focusing on unlocking growth opportunities through the development of an innovative pipeline of customer propositions in high-growth areas. Your work will not only improve health outcomes but also support our customers in living healthier lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the development of growth-driving commercial health and wellness customer propositions, grounded in customer insights and evidence-based care
  • Building and managing a pipeline of innovation and future growth opportunities with a focus on preventative care, improving health outcomes and patient experiences, ensuring these align with our overarching healthcare strategy
  • Identifying and prioritising growth opportunity areas across healthcare to expand our ecosystem, translating these into strategy pitch decks and scalable propositions
  • Working cross-functionally to design, test and launch test concepts
  • Using data, insights and external trends to inform future proposition development and continual assessment of existing pipeline opportunities
  • Developing robust business cases and proposition designs to secure senior stakeholder engagement across different parts of Boots UK, Boots Opticians and Boots Hearingcare businesses

What You’ll Need to Have

  • Proven experience, and passion, for proposition development, innovation and strategy in a customer-led environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with at least 5 years in commercial/category/business development roles
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
  • A growth mindset
  • Passion for improving our customers’ healthcare experiences in a role that can truly make a difference
  • Full, clean driver’s license and passport (some UK/Europe travel required)

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • A good understanding of the health and wellness markets is desirable
  • Familiarity with test and learn approaches
