Planning Officer – The Royal Borough of Greenwich

Fox Morris Group are working to recruit a Planning Officer.

Responsibilities

• Deal with the discharge of conditions and obligations associated with large‑scale strategic and major planning applications, including amendments through s96a and s73 of the Town and Country Planning Act.
• Provide pre‑application advice to developers on proposals in accordance with adopted and emerging policy and guidance.

This role is ideally suited for someone looking to gain experience of major projects and offers the potential to progress to becoming the case officer for major applications.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a development management role.
• A good understanding of the UK planning system.
• Degree level education in a relevant subject, or equivalent planning experience.
