They are seeking a number of Site Engineersto support its expanding UK Renewable Energy division with a growing portfolio of utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Civil Engineer to join our renewable energy team, focusing on the planning, design, and construction of large-scale solar PV projects (5 MW and above). The role involves managing site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards and coordinating with contractors, surveyors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently and successfully from construction through to commissioning.

You will work closely with the Construction Manager, project team, and subcontractors to ensure electrical works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day construction site activities to ensure project timelines are met.
• Interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to guide site operations accurately.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure standards and specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on timelines, costs, and performance.
• Manage site resources, including materials, equipment, and labour allocation.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction phases.
• Ensure accurate setting out, levelling, and surveying of the construction site.

Maintain documentation, including daily logs, method statements, and risk assessments.

Qualifications required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering

The Successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in site engineering within construction.
• Proven experience working on large-scale Solar PV projects.
• Previous employment with a reputable EPC contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site coordination, and engineering standards
• Understanding of health & safety regulations and construction standards. xwzovoh
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skill's
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, earthing, cable installation, and grid connection works
• Excellent use of English
• Construction experience
• Technical competence
