This is a full-time, permanent Operations Manager role, sitting at the heart of a growing telecoms and IT business.
You’ll be office-based, especially early on, so you can properly get under the skin of the systems, people, and processes. This is a hands‑on role with real influence.
Salary
You’ll be paid £50,000–£60,000, depending on experience.
What you’ll actually be doing
You’ll come in as the operational glue of the business — overseeing onboarding, improving processes, and making sure everything runs smoothly day to day.
Your role will include:
- Owning and improving the client onboarding process, from sale to install.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to keep everything aligned.
- Streamlining and automating workflows where possible (CRM, onboarding, KYC, provisioning).
- Acting as a line manager to parts of the operations team.
- Running weekly meetings, huddles, and check‑ins to keep teams moving in the right direction.
- Overseeing installs, open tickets, customer status, and operational priorities.
- Putting structure around reporting, planning, and accountability.
- Taking operational pressure off the leadership team so they can focus on growth.
This is a role where you’ll be encouraged to fix what’s broken, improve what works, and challenge processes that don’t make sense.
What we’re looking for
Ideally, you’ll:
- Have experience in an operations role within telecoms, IT, MSP, or a similar environment.
- Be comfortable managing onboarding, suppliers, and internal workflows.
- Have experience improving or automating processes (CRM, workflows, forms, integrations).
- Be confident leading people and setting clear expectations.
- Enjoy bringing structure, clarity, and calm to busy environments.
- Be hands‑on, practical, and happy being in the office day to day.
Experience with CRM platforms and workflow automation is a big plus, but mindset and approach matter just as much.
