Job Overview

TSB Bank Plc – Customer Service Consultant (12‑month Fixed Term Contract). Branch Banking. Inverness. Full Time with flexible hours between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Saturday on a rotational basis.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £26,923 (£24,700 base + £2,223 cash allowance). Variable Pay Award (5%/£1,235 on target). Pension up to 13%. 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). Private Healthcare. Extra 9% salary for flexible benefits.

Key Responsibilities

As a Money Confidence Expert, you’ll help personal and business customers build confidence in using the different ways they can bank with TSB. You’ll demonstrate how to get the most from their chosen channels so everyday banking is easy and convenient.

  • Build and deepen customer relationships through face‑to‑face, telephone, and video banking.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and address their needs.
  • Proactively educate customers about our products and services in the most convenient way.
  • Provide financial support that may change customers’ lives.
  • Add a personal touch and showcase why TSB is the only bank for them.

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service in person, via video calls, and over the phone.
  • Flair for understanding customer needs and finding best support solutions.
  • Ability to help answer questions and solve problems.
  • Strong team player embracing a collaborative approach.
  • Digital proficiency: educate and assist customers to use digital self‑serve via device or branch tablets.

Location & Commute

Candidates must be able to commute to other branch locations, typically up to 25 miles (approximately 1¼ hours) from home.
