Job OverviewSuccessfully manage and develop clients across the Healthcare sector. Main Duties Management of waste contracts for various clients, in line with contract specification.Maintain and develop client relationships with a view to maintaining and growing waste services.Identifying innovative opportunities for services beyond traditional waste collection.Maintain, monitor and develop the relationship with all relevant subcontractorsDevelop and implement strategies for service enhancement and cost savingsMonitoring quality and accuracy of Management Information reports produced and submitted by the MI team.Monitoring quality and accuracy of invoices produced and submitted by the Finance team.Monitoring quality and accuracy of waste data on Mitie Waste’s WR1 system.Submitting and implementing strategic waste management plans in line with our client’s environmental and accreditation objectivesEnsuring client compliance with current and future environmental & Health and Safety regulations and legislation;Auditing both suppliers and clients sitesEnsure that contracts are run safely and efficiently to the required standard. To liaise with clients and monitor site operations if appropriate.First point of contact for client queries on waste related activitiesAttending Client meetings as required.Liaise with Mitie Waste Finance team to ensure debt and WIP is minimised. Where appropriate, implement action plans to reduce debt and WIP.Investigation and resolution of clients complaints and concerns.Create a positive safety culture on client sites in line with client and Mitie requirements What we are looking for Has experience and understanding of the Healthcare waste sectorHas proven track record of project management and implementationCan demonstrate a sound knowledge of the legislative requirements governing clinical and hazardous waste typesIs comfortable and capable of delvering training sessions to a varied audience at customer locationsHas excellent communication, written, time management and organisational skills;Has the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at onceCan demonstrate a working knowledge of waste and recycling best practice, including innovative approaches for the future treatment of wasteKnowledge or experience in Contract Management, Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste management.Experience in handling and packaging of waste chemicals would be an advantage.Can communicate with people across all levels of the organisation;Has good presentation and planning skillsManaging change and Customer Care experience/skillsUnderstanding of Health and Safety practicesApproachable and hard working with a ‘can do’ approach Our market-leading offering provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.
