The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Technical Lead is a senior, client–embedded technical leadership role and the single point of technical authority for Site Reliability Engineering across assigned platforms or engagements. The role is accountable for the reliability, availability, and operability of services delivered by one or more teams and vendors in complex, multi‑vendor environments.
This role combines strategic reliability leadership with hands‑on engineering authority. It is distinct from operations management or Principal Engineer roles, owning technical reliability outcomes including release readiness, platform stability, and stakeholder confidence.
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home.
As the SRE Technical Lead, you are the technical authority for SRE practices across all vendors and solution trains, working closely with client stakeholders, Capgemini leadership, and delivery partners.
You operate without formal line management, providing technical leadership through influence, and work closely with Principal SREs, Cloud Technical Leads, Platform, Security, and Operations teams.

To be successfully appointed to this role, a Security Check (SC) clearance is required. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons.
