What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN and WAN environments
- Configure and manage routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
- Build and maintain secure network solutions, including VPNs and firewall configurations
- Translate high-level designs into detailed configurations and deployment plans
- Support and optimise network performance across production environmentsTroubleshoot complex network issues across multiple layers and technologies
- Contribute to lab environments, testing and proof-of-concept work for new technologies
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable and resilient solutions
- Support continuous improvement of network architecture and operational processes
Main Skills Needed
- Strong experience in network engineering across both LAN and WAN environments
- Solid understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and network architecture
- Experience with VPN technologies and network security infrastructure (e.g. firewalls)
- Ability to work from both high-level and low-level technical designs
- Hands‑on troubleshooting skills in complex network environments
- Familiarity with data centre networking concepts (e.g. spine/leaf, EVPN) is beneficial
- Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform is advantageous
- Experience with virtualised networking or NSX is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative teams
