The business is a well‑established housebuilder delivering high‑quality residential developments across Cheshire and North Wales. With nearly a century of history and a strong pipeline of work, they are targeting significant growth over the next five years.

You will oversee engineering design and coordination across multiple residential developments, ensuring projects are technically compliant, cost‑effective and delivered efficiently while working closely with internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee drainage, highways, and earthworks design across developments
  • Manage and coordinate external consultants and technical submissions
  • Support planning applications and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Resolve technical issues during construction and liaise with authorities

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Development Engineer or Senior Engineer within housebuilding
  • Strong knowledge of technical approvals, adoptions, and infrastructure design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with a solid understanding of engineering design principles
  • Relevant qualification (HNC/degree) and a proactive, career‑driven mindset
