A leading and long-established regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to strengthen its pre‑construction team. This is a highly respected, family‑owned construction business with an excellent reputation for delivering quality projects and maintaining long‑term client relationships. The company has been operating successfully for many years and continues to secure a strong pipeline of work across multiple sectors. Projects are primarily new build construction schemes across sectors including commercial, education and community facilities. The business works with repeat clients and frameworks, creating a stable and consistent project pipeline. Estimator / Senior Estimator - Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for new build construction projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Producing take‑offs and cost plans
• Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Preparing tender submissions and supporting documentation
• Identifying risks and opportunities within tender returns
• Working closely with commercial and operational teams during the bid process
• Supporting the handover of successful tenders to delivery teams

Estimator / Senior Estimator - Requirements

• Experience working as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within a construction main contractor
• Strong experience pricing new build construction projects
• Good understanding of drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
