Repairs Planner / Scheduler – Social Housing

Location: Barnsley (S70)

Pay: £16.90 per hour

Contract: Temp (3 months initially) – Immediate Start

This fast‑paced role involves planning and scheduling day‑to‑day/reactive repairs for trades across a housing portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and allocating work to operatives
• Managing diaries and workloads for engineers/trades
• Handling reactive and planned maintenance jobs
• Liaising with tenants and internal teams
• Updating systems and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently

Requirements

• Experience in repairs planning/scheduling (social housing ideal)
• Strong knowledge of day‑to‑day/reactive repairs
• Experience using systems like MRI, Maintain, Impact Response or similar
• Good Excel and general IT skills
• Strong communication skills (customer‑facing role)
