Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity within technology consultancy, offering fast‑track career development and the chance to explore new and cutting‑edge technologies. The role supports the full life cycle of software development and includes hands‑on coding. You will be involved in all parts of the process – from design and development to ensuring a high‑quality end product for clients.

We work with a wide range of technologies including .Net, C#, Java, Salesforce, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Sitecore, ReactJS, Angular, Docker, Azure, Azure DevOps and Octopus, giving you the opportunity to learn and work with many different languages.

There will always be a lead manager associated with the project with overall delivery responsibility, who you can lean on to hone your skills around management and IT delivery.

You will work in our APS (Application Support) team, learning about the different platforms and products we support in the UK. You will be responsible for a mix of development, DevOps, and support, and will be part of an on‑call rotation.

Key Activities

• System development – front‑end, back‑end and integrations
• DevOps

• Workflow planning
• Process optimisation and quality assurance
• Implementing customer requirements for the design of new features
• Analysis and design of the overall solution
• Daily sparring with your team
• Full life cycle of delivery

Qualifications

• +2 years experience in the IT industry
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar field
• Curiosity to explore new technologies
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle
• Ability to code within projects
• Experience with databases, including MongoDB, SQL or document databases
• Experience in Java
• Experience in unit testing
• Previous involvement in developing and delivering major IT solutions
• Understanding of agile tools and techniques
• Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
• Highly ambitious and eager to excel in your career
• Willingness to travel to client sites anywhere in the UK and right to work in the UK
