We’re looking for a Junior Software Developer to join a growing technology team within a fast‑paced, regulated financial services environment.

About the Role
You’ll support the development and enhancement of in‑house systems used across trading, operational, and regulatory functions. Working closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders, you’ll help turn business requirements into reliable, well‑documented software solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to analyse requirements and technical specifications
- Developing clean, secure, and maintainable code using C# / .NET / SQL Server
- Building and supporting integrations between front‑, middle‑, and back‑office systems
- Writing and executing test plans, debugging issues, and performing root cause analysis
- Contributing to documentation, releases, and CI/CD pipelines
- Providing support for live systems and helping improve reliability through logging and monitoring
Core Technical Skills (Required)
- C# / .NET (ASP.NET, Entity Framework)
- SQL Server with solid T‑SQL skills
- REST API design and integration
- Git version control and Agile delivery practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps or similar)
Nice to Have
- Frontend experience (e.g. React.js)
- Exposure to financial systems, trading platforms, or regulatory reporting
- Experience integrating third‑party or SaaS platforms e.g. Salesforce
Experience & Education Required
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Around 2 years’ commercial development experience
- Financial services exposure is a plus, but not essential
