We’re looking for a QA Analyst to join our team in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of £47,000 – £55,000 and a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office.

To execute ICAEW’s QA practices within Agile delivery teams, you’ll ensure automated, reliable, and efficient testing is carried out across digital platforms. Reporting to the QA Lead, you’ll be a hands‑on tester responsible for implementing automation, executing regression and smoke tests, running performance tests, and embedding quality in delivery squads. You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and the QA Lead to ensure CI/CD pipelines deliver stable, high‑quality releases.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out day‑to‑day test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Ensure backlog items have clear acceptance criteria and test coverage.
  • Execute regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across releases.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Execute performance, scalability, and reliability tests against defined NFRs.
  • Apply agreed standards, templates, and processes set by the QA Lead.
  • Work closely with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure quality gates are defined and met.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in automated testing tools and scripting.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
  • Experience in regression testing, smoke testing, and performance testing.
  • Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or prior experience.
  • Test planning, test automation oversight, team management, Agile QA, metrics reporting, stakeholder engagement.
