This is a home-based role, ideally suited to an engineer based in the North of England, covering a mix of regional, national, and occasional international travel.

You’ll support a well-established customer base, working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team to deliver a high level of technical service.

This is a hands‑on role involving regular travel and occasional overnight stays, offering variety and autonomy in your day-to-day work.

About You

  • Essential: Previous experience working as an engineer within the print, packaging, or similar FMCG/manufacturing environment
  • Either a site-based engineer looking to step into a field-based role, or an existing Field Service Engineer
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills, supported by recognised qualifications
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing role
  • Flexible approach to travel, including occasional working away
  • Full UK driving licence

What’s on Offer

  • Salary circa £45,000 (depending on experience)
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates from day one
  • Company vehicle (hire car during probation, then choice of options)
  • 23 days holiday bank holidays (increasing to 26 with service)
  • 4% employer pension contribution
  • Ongoing training and clear progression opportunities within a growing business

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to join a stable, well-respected company where you’ll be trusted, supported, and given the opportunity to develop.

Please note: applicants must have relevant experience within print, packaging, or a similar production/manufacturing environment.
