Method Resourcing have partnered with a leading professional services firm to support the build of a new internal AI & automation capability within their tax technology function.
This team is being created to drive real operational efficiency through AI and automation, not client-facing consulting, but building tools and systems that directly improve how the business runs day-to-day.
You’ll be joining at an early stage of this journey, helping to design, build, and scale AI-powered workflows, internal platforms, and automation solutions that will be adopted quickly across the organisation.
This is a hands‑on engineering role with real ownership, ideal for someone who enjoys building production-ready solutions and wants to play a key role in shaping how AI is used within a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered agents and multi-step automation workflows
- Develop Python-based services and automation pipelines for production use
- Integrate AI solutions with internal systems using APIs and event‑driven architectures
- Build reusable components such as connectors, tools, and integration layers
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and production-ready
- Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and technical direction
- Support and mentor junior engineers as the team grows
- Translate business requirements into practical, working technical solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience building automation solutions or internal tools
- Hands‑on experience with Power Platform / Microsoft automation technologies
- Exposure to AI / Copilot / LLM‑driven workflows (beyond basic usage)
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Some experience with Python (or a strong willingness to develop further)
- Ability to operate in a hands‑on, delivery-focused environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or supporting more junior team members
