Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
About the Role
To maintain, repair, and improve a range of machinery and equipment across the site. From preventative maintenance to emergency breakdown response, you will play a vital role in ensuring operations remain safe, reliable, and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they impact production.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
- Work with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- At least three years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including experience with schematics and control systems.
- Confidence in independent problem solving, combined with a collaborative approach.
- Clear communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- A driving licence is preferred but not essential.
