The Role
We are looking for a Senior Consultant with an Operations specialism to support complex client engagements across investment operations, platform change, and operating model transformation.
This role is firmly rooted in change and transformation delivery and is suited to candidates with hands‑on experience working on programmes or projects that deliver operational, platform, or organisational change. It blends consulting delivery, business analysis, and solution design, and is ideal for individuals who enjoy working closely with clients to define requirements, shape solutions, and support successful implementation within demanding asset and wealth management environments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery & Consulting
- Deliver consulting engagements across asset and wealth management operations, supporting change and transformation initiatives across the operating model, processes, controls, and platforms
- Contribute to project‑based delivery across the end‑to‑end operations lifecycle, including:
- Transaction processing and operational workflows
- Reconciliations, pricing, valuations, and exception management
- Post‑trade, risk, and control environments
- Outsourcing arrangements and third‑party service provider oversight
- Support the design and delivery of:
- Target operating models (TOMs)
- Process improvements and control frameworks
- Investment operations and platform‑led transformation initiatives
- Act as a day‑to‑day client contact, building credibility with Operations, Technology, and Investment stakeholders
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Own requirements gathering and documentation for complex initiatives, including:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional and solution design artefacts
- Impact assessments for change and enhancement requests
- Translate business and operational needs into implementable solutions
- Support client walkthroughs, clarification sessions, and solution validation throughout implementation
Practice Development
- Contribute to the development and evolution of Citisoft’s practice areas, including investment, data, operations and distribution.
- Share expertise through internal knowledge‑sharing, including templates and lessons learned from client engagements
- Participate in internal forums, working groups, and initiatives that strengthen delivery quality and consistency across the business
- Support continuous improvement of methodologies, standards, and ways of working
Required Experience
- 8‑12+ years’ experience in asset or investment management consulting, industry roles, or delivery‑focused change programmes
- Strong understanding of middle‑office operations within asset/wealth management
- Proven experience in:
- Business analysis and requirements management
- Solution design and delivery enablement
- Working across business, operations, and technology teams
- Exposure to asset management platforms or service providers (e.g. OMS/EMS, IBOR/ABOR, custody, fund administration, data platforms) is highly desirable
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and operating in structured governance environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing client‑ready deliverables
