The role

As a People Business Partner, you will act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing proactive advice and support to managers and staff. You will be working with line managers, investigating employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and conducting reviews to ensure fair, consistent, and timely resolution. You will also be involved in strategically developing, continuously reviewing, and proactively enhancing ER policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with employment law and industry best practices.

The role also will support managers in handling complex ER cases, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. As we all know, hospitality is all about the culture. As a People Business Partner, you will be helping set the culture of the business, promoting a positive workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.

Experience

We are looking for a candidate with an HR background. You should have your CIPD Level 5 qualification or be working towards this qualification. You will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in Employee Relations within a fast‑paced, hospitality or similar environment. You must also have a strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices. The role requires proven ability to handle complex ER cases with discretion and professionalism, and excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
