Job Description:

Could you be the person who leads transformative regeneration projects and helps shape the future of North East Lincolnshire?

If you’re someone who thrives on managing complex projects, enjoys working collaboratively across teams, and is passionate about making a tangible difference in your community, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What’s the role all about?

As a Project Manager within the Project Management team, you’ll lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of capital regeneration projects. These include town centre improvements, industrial developments, highways, housing, and education initiatives. You’ll be responsible for taking projects from concept through to delivery and evaluation, ensuring alignment with the Council’s strategic objectives.

What will your day look like?

In this role, you’ll take the lead in coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams and engaging a wide range of stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery. You’ll manage every aspect of the project lifecycle—from documentation and risk management to budgets and timelines—while maintaining a sharp focus on quality and compliance. You’ll oversee procurement processes, support funding applications, and present key updates to boards and committees. Whether you are negotiating with landowners or liaising with statutory bodies and utility companies, your ability to build strong relationships and uphold high standards of project administration will be key to your success.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager who brings a proven track record in delivering capital regeneration projects. You’ll have a solid grasp of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, backed by a relevant degree or professional qualification. With excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills, you’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment and be confident working flexibly across locations and teams. Adaptable and forward‑thinking, you’ll be a natural collaborator and a strong leader who embodies our values of integrity, openness, and continuous improvement.

Why join us?

Because this isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to lead meaningful change in North East Lincolnshire. As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering ambitious regeneration projects that directly benefit our communities, from revitalising town centres to enhancing housing, highways, and education infrastructure. You’ll work alongside passionate colleagues and stakeholders, managing complex programmes from concept to completion. In return, you’ll be part of a forward‑thinking, supportive environment where your expertise is valued, your growth is encouraged, and your work truly makes a difference.
