You’ll motivate your team, delegate tasks, solve problems and roll up your sleeves to get stuck in. We’ll provide a competitive hourly pay rate, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package to support your well‑being and life outside Lidl.
What you’ll do
- Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles.
- Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks.
- Create an environment where colleagues can succeed alongside you.
- Manage operations within your store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly.
- Give customers the very best experience every time they visit your store.
What you’ll need
- Experience in leading a sizeable team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast‑paced environment.
- The ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate the team.
- Patience, a friendly manner, and the ability to keep calm in any situation.
- Passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team.
- A proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations.
