Bristol | 3 days onsite | £500–£600/day | Outside IR35 | 12 months
This is the role that keeps everything technically honest.
You’ll act as the technical authority across a complex MOD programme, ensuring multiple systems, suppliers and architectures actually integrate into something usable.
This is not hands-on coding.
It’s about technical leadership, assurance and challenge.
You’ll be:
- Setting and guiding technical strategy and architecture
- Leading design assurance and governance across suppliers
- Challenging engineering decisions where needed
- Managing technical risk across a multi-partner environment
- Acting as the credible voice of engineering with MOD stakeholders
The environment is complex, fast-moving and not always clearly defined.
You’ll need to be comfortable operating in that. xwzovoh
You’ll need:
- Strong background in defence engineering / systems
- Experience with tactical communications systems (essential)
- Ability to act as technical authority across multiple stakeholders
- Credibility with both engineers and senior military stakeholders
Must hold active SC clearance (DV highly desirable)
