*About the Role:*
Acorn Safety Services is seeking an experienced *Fire Risk Assessor* to join our growing safety consultancy team.
In this role, you’ll carry out *fire risk assessments, audits, and fire door inspections* across a variety of commercial and domestic sites. You’ll be responsible for producing clear, practical reports and advising clients on how to stay compliant with fire safety regulations.
This is a *full-time employed role* with structured working, national travel, and company support.
*What You’ll Be Doing:*
* Conduct fire risk assessments at client sites across the UK* Complete fire door inspections* Review fire safety documentation and procedures* Produce written reports and risk assessment documents* Provide up-to-date fire safety advice based on current legislation* Ensure reports are returned within 10 working days
*What We’re Looking For:*
* At least *2 years’ experience* in fire risk assessments* *NEBOSH Fire Certificate* or equivalent (required)* *IFSM membership* (or willingness to apply)* Full UK driving licence* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)* Comfortable with national travel and occasional overnight stays* Strong communication and report writing skills
