We’re working with a well-established Building Services Consultancy looking to appoint an experienced CAD Manager to lead the production and coordination of high-quality MEP drawings across a diverse portfolio of residential, education, commercial, and refurbishment projects.
This is a key role within the business, supporting project delivery, maintaining drawing standards, and coordinating multidisciplinary Building Services designs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing and coordinating 2D MEP drawings to construction level
- Managing AutoCAD drawings, models, worksets, and sheet standards
- Coordinating MEP layouts with architectural and structural teams
- Reviewing and coordinating work from an overseas CAD team
- Supporting and mentoring CAD technicians
- Maintaining QA, BIM, and document control standards
- Supporting engineers during project coordination and client meetings
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years’ experience producing MEP / Building Services drawings in AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and public health coordination
- Previous experience within a UK Building Services or MEP Consultancy
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and team coordination skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of construction documentation
Software
- AutoCAD (essential)
- Revit MEP and Navisworks (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- IES (desirable)
