We’re growing quickly and are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for environmental issues to help maximise the significant interest in our services.

Role Description

This is a full-time, 90% remote Account Manager role with 10% international conference attendance. The Account Manager will be responsible for starting and then managing client relationships, taking over existing accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and overseeing project timelines and milestones. Responsibilities include maintaining regular communication with clients, identifying their needs, coordinating with internal creative teams, tracking project progress, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role demands a high level of organisation and multitasking, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • A track record of winning, maintaining and growing accounts
  • Experience working within sustainability, climate and nature (for-profit or not-for-profit) with a strong understanding of the science of climate change and biodiversity loss is a must
  • An understanding of the United Nations’ international civil society ecosystem
  • Experience in conference work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including client relationship management.
  • Persuasive and empathetic
  • Sensitivity to different cultures – CAS’s clients are from 33 countries
  • The ability to talk to very different personality types – from farmers to former world leaders
  • Project management capabilities, including effective tracking of timelines, deliverables and scheduling.
  • Experience in digital content or video production processes, and a basic understanding of the video editing process
  • Proficiency in the use of CRMs – Salesforce, ideally.
  • Experience in Google Workspace products
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Salary: competitive, based on experience – from 3 years minimum to decades.
