Job Summary:

We are now looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Heat Pump Installation Manager to lead and expand installation operations across the South East. This is a pivotal leadership role within a growing business, offering the opportunity to influence processes, enhance performance, and support the company’s continued national growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee full-cycle heat pump installation projects, managing monthly revenues of up to £500k
  • Supervise both internal engineers and subcontractor teams to ensure consistent quality and delivery standards
  • Champion a “right first time” approach, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Manage a high-volume, fast-paced workload while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Take full responsibility for project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination
  • Carry out and review comprehensive site surveys, ensuring accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Design and implement scalable processes to support business growth
  • Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, fostering a proactive safety culture
  • Contribute to pricing, estimating, and tendering activities to support commercial outcomes
  • Work closely with sales and design teams to deliver efficient, technically robust system designs
  • Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Qualified heating engineer (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing & Heating)
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and installation of heat pump systems
  • Strong project management expertise, with a track record of delivering projects of up to £500k per month
  • Experience overseeing both in-house teams and subcontractors
  • Proven involvement in pricing, estimating, and tendering processes
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent organisational and leadership capabilities
  • High level of attention to detail, particularly across site surveys, BOMs, and technical documentation
  • Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Process-oriented approach, with the ability to develop and enhance operational workflows
