We’re working with a major UK service provider with thousands of employees nationwide, looking to hire a Legal Counsel (NQ–1 PQE) to join its established in-house legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior litigation lawyer to step into a broad, hands-on role within a large and complex organisation. You’ll gain exposure to a high volume and variety of disputes, while also developing experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
The role:
You’ll work closely with the litigation team and senior stakeholders across the business, advising on a wide range of matters. Your work will include:
- supporting on a variety of litigation and dispute resolution matters
- assisting with case strategy, risk assessment, and external counsel management
- handling employment tribunal claims and wider contentious employment issues
- advising on disciplinary, grievance, and workplace matters
- supporting on non-contentious employment matters including drafting policies, contracts, and settlement agreements
- assisting with projects such as restructures, TUPE, and organisational change
Alongside this, you’ll continue to build your core litigation skillset while gaining well-rounded exposure to the full spectrum of employment law.
