We’re partnering with a leading global professional services organisation to hire a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, supporting key business areas across the UK.

The Opportunity
You’ll join a collaborative HR Business Partnering team as a dedicated ER specialist, working closely with HR, Legal, Risk and senior stakeholders to deliver consistent, risk-aware and people-focused outcomes.
This is a varied, fast-paced role offering exposure to complex and sensitive ER matters, alongside the opportunity to shape policy, build manager capability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a broad and complex ER caseload (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability, flexible working)
- Provide clear, pragmatic advice balancing legal risk, business needs, and employee experience
- Lead and support investigations, ensuring robust, fair and well-documented outcomes
- Partner with HRBPs and managers to navigate sensitive and high-risk cases
- Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence and capability in handling ER matters
- Support the development and delivery of ER training and best practice frameworks
- Ensure consistent application of policies, processes, and governance standards
- Analyse ER trends and MI to identify risks and drive proactive interventions
- Contribute to HR and ER improvement projects, enhancing processes and employee experience
About You
- Proven experience managing a broad range of ER casework within a complex or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
- Confident advising and influencing senior stakeholders on sensitive issues
- Excellent communicator with the ability to provide clear, practical guidance
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and governance standards
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally CIPD qualified (or working towards), though not essential
