Are you an experienced Employee Relations specialist looking for a role where you can take ownership of complex casework, influence stakeholders, and drive best practice within a high-performing environment?

We’re partnering with a leading global professional services organisation to hire a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, supporting key business areas across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking HR function where ER is seen as a strategic enabler, not just a support service.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a collaborative HR Business Partnering team as a dedicated ER specialist, working closely with HR, Legal, Risk and senior stakeholders to deliver consistent, risk-aware and people-focused outcomes.

This is a varied, fast-paced role offering exposure to complex and sensitive ER matters, alongside the opportunity to shape policy, build manager capability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad and complex ER caseload (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability, flexible working)
  • Provide clear, pragmatic advice balancing legal risk, business needs, and employee experience
  • Lead and support investigations, ensuring robust, fair and well-documented outcomes
  • Partner with HRBPs and managers to navigate sensitive and high-risk cases
  • Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence and capability in handling ER matters
  • Support the development and delivery of ER training and best practice frameworks
  • Ensure consistent application of policies, processes, and governance standards
  • Analyse ER trends and MI to identify risks and drive proactive interventions
  • Contribute to HR and ER improvement projects, enhancing processes and employee experience

About You

  • Proven experience managing a broad range of ER casework within a complex or professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
  • Confident advising and influencing senior stakeholders on sensitive issues
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to provide clear, practical guidance
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and governance standards
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideally CIPD qualified (or working towards), though not essential

Why This Role?

  • Join a globally recognised professional services organisation
  • Work within a high-calibre, collaborative HR function
  • Exposure to complex, high-impact ER work with real business influence
  • Opportunity to shape policy, capability, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Inclusive, flexible culture with a strong focus on wellbeing and development

Please note that this is hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office.

If you’re looking to take your ER expertise into a role where you can add real value, influence outcomes, and drive best practice, this is an excellent opportunity.
