Commercial Manager / Director – Data Centres (UK)

We are working with a leading UK General Contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects, seeking a Commercial Manager / Commercial Director to lead the commercial function on high-value builds.

This is a key role within a fast-growing sector, offering the opportunity to work on complex, fast-track projects with strong career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial and contractual aspects of projects
• Manage contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
• Oversee cost control, variations, and claims
• Drive commercial performance and risk management
• Lead client and subcontractor commercial engagement

Requirements

• M&E biased preferred
• Experience as Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager / Commercial Lead
• Background in complex projects (data centres, energy, infrastructure, EPC)
• Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT and/or FIDIC contracts
• Proven experience managing claims and commercial risk
