Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist (Mornings)
Location: Maresfield- TN22
Hours: 8:30am – 12:30pm, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a professional and organised Part-Time Receptionist to provide an effective and efficient front-of-house service at a busy Service Training Centre. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality training administration services and contributing to operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a professional, welcoming reception service for all visitors, clients and staff
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, responding appropriately and escalating issues where necessary
- Manage incoming telephone calls, handling queries, redirecting calls or taking messages as required
- Co-ordinate day-to-day site security, including:
- Admitting and recording visitors
- Issuing security passes
- Providing site keys where required
- Oversee the registration of delegates attending on-site training courses and events
- Provide administrative support to the Course Administration Team and wider Training Centre personnel
- Carry out data entry tasks using internal systems
- Maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders regarding any issues or updates
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous reception or front-of-house experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Competent IT skills, including data entry systems
- Knowledge and understanding of the Fire Service environment is desirable
