Location: Basingstoke or London office (travel to other UK offices as required)

Role Overview

This role sits within a dynamic IT team responsible for driving innovation and delivering new technology solutions across the firm. The successful candidate will lead and manage a range of projects (both technical and business-focused), coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are robust, compliant with internal processes, and effectively delivered to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects, including budget oversight, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, time, and quality standards
• Provide constructive challenge to technical and business decisions using a logical, evidence-based approach
• Oversee and coordinate multiple workstreams within projects
• Research and evaluate technologies to address business needs and challenges
• Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into clear, measurable deliverables
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and take ownership of continuous professional development
• Optimise the use of resources and team capacity
• Manage third-party vendors and consultants, and collaborate with stakeholders across the firm
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and processes
• Produce and maintain accurate project and technical documentation

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering technology solutions within a business environment
• Proven ability to analyse complex requirements and develop structured, logical solutions
• At least 3 years’ project management experience
• Highly self-motivated with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience using project management tools
• Track record of delivering effective, scalable solutions
• Experience managing complex, multi-faceted projects
• Background in legal or professional services environments
• Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum)
• Understanding of cyber security principles
