Job Title: Data Integration Engineer VP Level
Location: London, Hybrid
Contract: 6 Months
Day Rate: £600-£700 PWD via Umbrella
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Overview
We are working with a leading global financial services organisation seeking an experienced Data Integration Engineer to join their London based team. This is a hands on role focused on delivering high quality data solutions within a regulatory driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain data integration pipelines
Work extensively with ETL tools DataStage (required)
Develop and optimise SQL queries PL SQL T SQL
Perform data modelling and transformation
Build and manage data marts
Ensure data quality governance and compliance standards
Support regulatory reporting requirements
Required Skills and Experience
Strong hands on experience with DataStage (must have)
Solid experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases
Advanced SQL skills PL SQL T SQL
Proven experience in ETL and data integration
Experience within banking or financial services ideally regulatory reporting
Strong understanding of data quality and governance
Nice to Have
Exposure to Azure Databricks
Experience with middleware tools Kafka MQ IIB
Knowledge of AQR ECB reporting
Personal Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non technical stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
