We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of steel fabrication projects from tender through to completion. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
This is a hands-on role with real autonomy. You’ll work closely with Design, Engineering, Commercial and shop floor teams, managing programme, cost, risk and change across multiple live projects.
What you’ll be doing
Managing projects end to end from pre-qualification and tender through to final close-out
Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using MS Project
Leading project kick-off, review and close-out meetings
Managing budgets, cashflow, cost forecasting and variations
Controlling change including early warnings, CEs and contract amendments
Identifying and mitigating project risks
Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to high safety and quality standards
Supporting RAMS, ITPs and lift plans alongside delivery teams
Carrying out site visits, supplier meetings and client updates
Promoting continuous improvement and best practice
What we’re looking for
Proven project management experience with a strong delivery track record
Confident communicator who can lead teams and manage stakeholders
Highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working autonomously
Experience using MS Project
