The Team
The Commercial Litigation Group advises on a wide range of complex disputes across multiple sectors, including media, technology, telecoms, private capital, real estate, financial services, entertainment, and retail.
The team handles a varied and high-quality caseload, offering exposure to both high-value, complex litigation and strategically significant disputes for growing businesses and established market players.
The Role
The firm is seeking a 3 PQE Commercial Litigation Associate to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners while maintaining a high degree of responsibility on matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, shareholder and company law disputes, and fraud-related claims
- Conducting legal research and delivering clear, commercially focused advice
- Drafting inter partes correspondence, witness evidence, and interim applications
- Liaising with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders
- Supporting on large-scale litigation and arbitration matters
- Maintaining day-to-day client contact and helping to build strong client relationships
- Attending client meetings, mediations, and court hearings
- Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have circa 3 years’ PQE in commercial litigation from a recognised practice
- Demonstrate strong technical ability alongside a pragmatic, commercial approach
- Be confident managing smaller matters independently while contributing effectively to larger team-based cases
- Show initiative, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
- Be comfortable engaging directly with clients and delivering a high level of service
- Take ownership of their work and contribute to case strategy and execution
