YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for an exceptional Head of HR to lead and deliver the people strategy across our Contract Logistics product in the UK and Ireland.
This is a pivotal, senior HR leadership role operating at the heart of the business — partnering closely with the Managing Director of Contract Logistics to drive growth, transformation and customer excellence across a diverse portfolio of customers.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As Head of HR for Contract Logistics, you will sit at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational delivery. You’ll bring deep understanding of logistics operations, customer contracts and commercial drivers, and translate these into pragmatic, forward looking people strategies that enable performance today and growth tomorrow.
From large scale new business tenders and complex implementations, through to mergers, acquisitions and organisational transformation, you’ll lead with confidence — ensuring our workforce is agile, capable, engaged and ready to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Ideally, you’ll be a seasoned, commercially minded HR leader with a track record of operating at pace and scale in complex, contract-led environments. Your experience will include:
- Senior HR leadership experience within Contract Logistics, supply chain, or similarly complex operational sectors.
- Experience of leading the people element of large scale customer bids and tenders and working closely with Business Development on strategies for growth.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding, with the ability to align people strategy to contracts, margins and customer outcomes.
- Proven experience leading large scale transformation, including M&A and major business change, within a regional or global matrix.
- Deep knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across multiple countries.
- Confidence operating with executive stakeholders and influencing at the highest levels.
You’ll also bring:
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking balanced with hands on pragmatism.
- Strong people leadership capability, with experience developing senior HR talent.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to navigate complexity with credibility and impact.
