Cable Jointer

HV Cable Jointer – 6 month initial contracts – United Kingdom – Outside IR35 – ASAP start – 3/3 rotation – Offshore

Hunter Philips are looking for a HV Cable Jointer. You will be responsible for instillation, testing, commissioning and jointing on the underground networks.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out 66kV cable jointing works across offshore wind assets
• Execute terminations, joints, testing, and fault response within O&M scopes
• Work as part of established offshore teams delivering against live project schedules
• Ensure strict adherence to HV safety procedures and offshore compliance standards
• Coordinate with supervisors, SAPs, and client reps during installation and maintenance activities
• Support fault finding and repair work to minimise downtime across assets

Logistics:

• ASAP start
• Day rate, outside IR35
• 3/3 rotation
• 6 month contracts

Requirements & certification:

• 66kV authorisations
• Full UK drivers licence
• Solid understanding of Electrical Safety
• Strong understanding and experience working on distribution networks
• 2391 Testing and Termination
• 18th Edition
• IPAF
• CSCS Card
• IOSH
