Paralegal – Personal Injury

I am currently working with a well-established firm in Manchester that are looking to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their growing team.

The Role

As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will support fee earners in managing a caseload of claimant personal injury matters from inception through to settlement. The caseload will primarily include:

• Road Traffic Accidents (RTA)
• Employer’s Liability (EL)
• Public Liability (PL)
• Fast Track and Multi-Track matters

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the management of a varied caseload of personal injury claims
• Drafting correspondence and legal documents
• Obtaining medical records and instructing medical experts
• Liaising with clients, insurers, and third parties
• Preparing court bundles and trial documentation
• Supporting solicitors with litigation matters
• Ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines and regulatory requirements

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within a Personal Injury department
• A solid understanding of the RTA/Portal process and pre-action protocols
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office
