Business Development Director
Location: London (Hybrid: 2 days per week at the London Wall office / Tuesdays and Thursdays).
This role requires regular travel to meet clients & partners in person.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for winning new business and expanding our presence across 3 Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway and Iceland), leading complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles—often engaging directly with C‑suite executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle—from proactive prospecting through to close, with a strong focus on new logo acquisition.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and reporting in Salesforce.
- Drive regular face‑to‑face engagement (10 F2F meetings/month).
- Use MEDDPICC and Value Pyramid to deeply understand customer needs and align solutions.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Solution Consulting, and Technical teams to close complex deals.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive long‑term growth.
- Collaborate with market planning, marketing, regulators, and external partners to drive strategic initiatives.
- Work with account management teams to close cross‑sell opportunities.
- Leverage tools such as Gong and Lusha to drive effective prospecting, pipeline management, and deal execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development or enterprise solution sales, ideally within financial crime, fraud, identity, or compliance.
- Fluent English required; additional Nordic language skills advantageous.
- Proven track record of exceeding ACV targets in a complex, solution‑based sales environment.
- Strong expertise in the MEDDPICC framework, managing complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
- Previous experience in banking, fintech or regtech.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills.
