Salary: £49,440 - £55,620 (appointments are typically made at the lower end of the salary range)

Key responsibilities
Strategic and organisational leadership
- Act as Home-Start UK’s strategic lead for data, evidence and insight, championing an insight-led culture across the organisation and federation.
- Play an active role on the Leadership Team, shaping organisational strategy, planning and decision-making.
- Strengthen internal communication, collaboration, and shared learning across teams.
- Promote and uphold our values and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Team leadership and management
- Lead, manage, and develop the Impact Team, building a culture of high performance.
- Set and manage the Impact Team’s budget.
- Monitor and report against objectives, outcomes and KPIs for the Impact Team.
- Lead and facilitate Home-Start UK’s Data and Impact Working Group and our Network Impact Reference Group, ensuring a coordinated approach.
Impact measurement and reporting
- Develop and lead implementation of a shared measurement framework for our federation.
- Interpret data and produce actionable insight for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualisations.
- Support delivery of the annual impact report for Home-Start UK, working closely with the Fundraising and Marketing and Communications Teams.
- Support our Fundraising and Marketing and Communications Teams to translate data, evidence and insight into compelling stories.
Monitoring, evaluation, research and learning
- Design and oversee robust monitoring and evaluation of Home-Start UK’s support to our federation, enabling quality reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Strengthen processes at Home-Start UK and across the federation for collecting, analysing and sharing learning to improve services, shape strategy, and inform influencing efforts.
- Develop and lead Home-Start UK’s research and evaluation agenda, commissioning and managing research to strengthen understanding of family needs and the outcomes and long‑term impact of support.
Data quality, systems and governance
- Work with our Infrastructure team to strengthen, embed, and evolve data systems at Home-Start UK and across our federation.
- Support our Infrastructure Team to develop and optimise Home-Start’s central CMS platform.
- Ensure consistent data quality, security, and ethical standards.
- Build data management capabilities at Home-Start UK and across our federation by supporting design and delivery of a programme of training and peer learning.
External representation and partnership development
- Act as an ambassador and champion for data, evidence, and insight at Home-Start UK, developing and managing relationships with external partners and advisors where relevant.
- Work with the Fundraising and Marketing Team to identify and develop opportunities for new funding partnerships to invest in and grow our insight and impact work.
