Store Manager – New Belfast Store

EZ Living Furniture was founded in Galway in 1998. We are a family‑run Irish retailer operating nationwide, with a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. We are Ireland’s largest independent furniture retailer employing over 370 people.

The role: We are looking to recruit a Store Manager with a strong retail sales background to lead our dynamic team in our new Belfast store. The position involves supporting a sales team in reaching and exceeding personal and company targets, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering a first‑rate customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a highly determined drive for sales and lead by example.
  • Continuously communicate with and motivate the team.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the store when liaising across internal departments.
  • Co‑coach the team to keep product knowledge, company policies and brand values up to date.
  • People‑management activities in liaison with HR and senior management.
  • Complete regular reports for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and coaching skills.
  • Proven people‑management and team‑player experience.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office user, with an ability to learn in‑house systems.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Furniture experience a benefit, but not essential.
