Store Manager – New Belfast Store
EZ Living Furniture was founded in Galway in 1998. We are a family‑run Irish retailer operating nationwide, with a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. We are Ireland’s largest independent furniture retailer employing over 370 people.
The role: We are looking to recruit a Store Manager with a strong retail sales background to lead our dynamic team in our new Belfast store. The position involves supporting a sales team in reaching and exceeding personal and company targets, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering a first‑rate customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a highly determined drive for sales and lead by example.
- Continuously communicate with and motivate the team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Act as the first point of contact for the store when liaising across internal departments.
- Co‑coach the team to keep product knowledge, company policies and brand values up to date.
- People‑management activities in liaison with HR and senior management.
- Complete regular reports for senior management.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication and coaching skills.
- Proven people‑management and team‑player experience.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office user, with an ability to learn in‑house systems.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Furniture experience a benefit, but not essential.
