Electrical Site Manager - Contract Opportunity
A client operating within the commercial and industrial building services sector is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Site Manager on a contract basis.
Day Rate: £300 (Ltd / CIS)
Location: Durham
Duration: 6 months initially - may be longer
This role will suit someone confident in taking full responsibility for electrical packages on live sites, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish.
Role Overview
- Lead and coordinate all on‑site electrical works
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure productivity targets are met
- Work closely with project management and design teams to resolve site issues
- Monitor progress against programme and report updates regularly
- Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance, including RAMS adherence
- Carry out inspections and ensure quality control across installations
What we're looking for
- Demonstrable experience managing electrical installations on construction sites
- Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical systems
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS qualification (or equivalent)
- ECS/CSCS card essential
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities
- Confident communicator able to manage multiple site stakeholders
