Operations & Finance Lead – Multi-Site (Specialist Education)

Salary: £52,000 – £55,000 per annum Status: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (Full-Time) Location: North Staffordshire & East Cheshire

The Role

Are you an operational strategist who enjoys the challenge of managing diverse sites? We are looking for a dynamic Multi-Site Business Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team across two of our premier specialist schools.

While our educators focus on delivering "Outstanding" outcomes for students with Autism and complex needs, you will be the engine room-ensuring the business, finance, and infrastructure functions operate at the highest level of efficiency. You will mentor existing administrative teams and act as the primary lead for all non-academic operations.

Core Areas of Impact

You will hold the "golden thread" of operational excellence across both campuses, with direct oversight of:

  • Financial Stewardship: Full budgetary accountability, resource allocation, and EBITDA performance monitoring.

  • Site Infrastructure: Leading Estates, Facilities, and ICT to ensure a world-class learning environment.

  • People & Compliance: Overseeing HR procedures, ensuring stringent Health & Safety standards, and maintaining regulatory "inspection-ready" status.

  • Strategic Growth: Working alongside the Headteachers to plan and execute long-term operational goals.

  • Service Excellence: Ensuring Catering and Housekeeping services meet the high standards our students deserve.

Who We Are Looking For

We need a professional with "big picture" vision and an eye for detail. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy and has the gravitas to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

  • The Expert: You have a background in business management within a regulated sector (Education, Care, or similar).

  • The Analyst: You are comfortable with complex financial reporting and driving value across multiple cost centres.

  • The Leader: You know how to motivate staff across different locations and build a cohesive support culture.

  • The Protector: You have an unwavering commitment to safeguarding and compliance.

Preferred: A professional diploma in School Business Management or a Finance/HR qualification is highly desirable.

Join Our Mission

This is more than an office-based role; it is an opportunity to provide the stability and safety required for students with special educational needs to flourish. You'll be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation and operational brilliance.
